Running

Heyy sorry i haven't written in so long! I was on vacation and then back at school so i don't have as much time any more. From now on I am going to try and update everyweekend:) Soo a lot has happened since my last udate. One major thing is that I began running again! I used couch to 5k and i am now running 2 miles 3 days a week. School is back and that is good. So i had a cold last week and I was able to get over it without having a high fever and having to be admitted to the hospital. I think that that is a good sign. :) Things are going well so I'll keep you posted.

Summer

So I would like to thank bactrum and the sun for the extreme sunburn on my face, chest and shoulders. As I am sitting with my treatment mask on, my nose is in so much pain. Although my lungs feel pretty amazing after spending half my day in salt water. It is like doing an extreme dose of hyper tonic saline i think i can still taste the salt and sand in my mouth. Oh and this morning I went to the clinic before the beach because I had to be taught stress doses of a steroid for when I am sick. Did I mention you inject them, I hope I don't get sick for a while... yeah. So I am super excited about my camp starting in 3 days. The thing I am not looking forward to is the fact that the stage doesn't have air conditioning. :/ They do though have on of those giant fans, which helps. So I am almost through my first summer reading book, I try to read during treatment but it is hard to focus when bravo is on.

So Excited

Ok so I am so excited that next week I am going to be starting a camp at my high school. It is my favorite things ever its dancing, singing, and acting. And its like so great because It only goes to 12:15 so I can like still do things during the day. Oh and by the way today is my Daddy's birthday. He has been such a great supporter of me through everything and he is always there for me so love you dad. So CF got me down a little today cause I went to a restaurant for my dad's birthday dinner and the hostess gave me a children's menu. It was for ages 12 and under and I am 15 so i was like um no I'll take a regular menu thanks. but whenever I get bummed out about things like that I just remember what one of my best friends Jess said " your not small, your fun sized" hahahahah So all CFers remember that when you feel like you look 5 years younger than you are. I'll keep ya posted.

Dear CF,

As this summer begins with the 4th of July I remember last year what hell I was in. I remember the daily trouble you put me through. But it wasn't just the summer, you kept winning our fights through-out all of 8th grade. It made me week and it made me feel horrible. But that was then and this is now. And right now I am winning. I am coming at you with everything I have. And I know I am winning because I got a little two day cold the other day, and it didn't turn into a lung infection. I also want you to know though that damage hasn't affected me in all bad ways. I heard someone say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. And I am stronger CF. So thank you for that, but I am not letting you ruin my summer again. So goodbye CF and hello summer.

Its been a whillee..

The title says it all. I am doing great with all the CF junk and trying really hard to keep in shape! It feels so amazing being out of school, too. Its like a giant weight being lifted off of my shoulders. So finally summer is here which means I have a lot more time to write. So I'll keep you updated. :)

CF Awareness Month: May 5, 2010

I am so sorry I haven't written in so long, high school what are you gonna do? I am very excited that my picc line has stayed out for this long. Also it is Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month. This is so awesome because not many even know what Cystic Fibrosis is and you can you do little things to let people know, an example would be like how I have a purple rose that says Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month for my facebook profile picture. Don't forget to celebrate CF Awareness Month with a chocolate milkshake!

Hey ok sorry I havent blogged in a while. I have been insanely crazy with school. Ok so the picc line is out! I am so happy. Life is just going really good you know It is spring break right now and Im just hangin out and stuff but yeah I have two assignments to work on durning break, go figure from my bio teacher.... durning easter break. hahaha so cliche bio so cliche.
